RAPID RESPONSE ACTION ALERT – Take Action on Farm Bill Now!

U.S. Representatives are now poised to vote on the Farm Bill and several amendments are being voted upon now.
One of those amendments is the Luna Amendment that would remove some pesticide immunity language from the Farm Bill.
Another amendment would have removed the EATS Act from the Farm Bill. Unfortunately, that failed to pass out of the House Committee on Rules yesterday.
Therefore, the EATS Act language is currently in the House version of the Farm Bill.
What You Can Do:
Why Yes on the Luna Amendment:
We need to signal broad support for removing pesticide immunity from the Farm Bill. This also provides a strong legislative record opposing pesticide immunity language that can be influential in the US Supreme Court’s decision on the Bayer/Monsanto glyphosate case.
Why No on the Farm Bill:
We must not allow a Farm Bill to move further until the EATS Act/Save Our Bacon Act is removed.
